Chat & Chew
The Experience
Each Chat & Chew is built around a timely question or theme, guided by thoughtful prompts, warm hospitality, and skilled facilitation.
For guests, it is a chance to move beyond small talk and into real conversation.
For hosts, venues, sponsors, brands, and organizations, it is thoughtful programming that builds trust, deepens community, and gives people a reason to gather, stay, return, and actually talk to one another.
Radical, we know.
Not another networking event
Not a lecture.
Not a panel.
Not a forced mixer with name tags and survival instincts.
Born in New York. Chat & Chew is a salon-style dialogue experience for the conversations people are craving but rarely get to have.
We bring thoughtful people together around the questions shaping our lives, communities, and culture, then design the room where people can speak honestly, listen deeply, and leave with language, connection, and a way forward.
Dinner is lovely. Drinks help. But the real thing people remember is the moment someone across the table says:
“I thought I was the only one.”
Connection > Escapism

Chat & Chew is designed for public gatherings, sponsored conversations, private salons, cultural programming, community engagement, retreats, milestone events, and custom experiences.
We partner with venues, brands, organizations, founders, cultural leaders, private hosts, and community builders who want to create something more meaningful than another event on the calendar.
American Democracy (and the institutions that sustain it)
On September 11, 2024 - the day after the Presidential Debate - a group of New York intellects got together to discuss the American Democracy (and the institutions that sustain it). We could have been there ALL night. So many different perspectives were shared and Marcus did a deep dive into the history of America’s politics, and facilitated invaluable dialogue amongst New York’s best of the best at Harlem Wine Gallery. We need to host a Part II as we didn’t get through a third of the agenda that Marcus created.
